MBA in the United States
This paragraph is directed to students and professionals from Europe, particularly Austria, Germany and Switzerland who intend to pursue a MBA in the United States. Three years ago I struggled to gather information on how and where to start this academic pursuit. After successfully completing the degree, I wrote an article in German about my MBA experience at the Kellogg GSM which was published in the June 1997 edition of the Swiss magazine 'TechInfo'. I can offer guidance to help with the application process and consult on how to leverage your potential to gain acceptance. Anyone interested in deciding for a MBA in the United States is welcome to contact me at rdebrot1997@alum.kellogg.nwu.edu.
Ecoethics
Surfactants and Ecoethics is an article I published in July 1993 in
'Chemistry Today', an international journal of chemistry and biotechnology. It
includes some of my thoughts on the battle of replacing synthetic feedstock with
natural feedstock for application in surfactants and detergents. In the article,
I draw two conclusions: taking all factors into account, i.e. safety,
performance and ecology, there is no justification for replacing petroleum with
vegetable feedstock, and that, even if there were, it would be difficult to
accomplish such an exchange.
